Have you ever seen a glimpse of a real elf’s hat with a white pom-pom? Or perhaps heard the jingle of a small lace bell? Have you ever thought how busy Old Rauma’s elves are during Christmas? And do these lacemakers’ relatives speak the Rauma dialect?

In The Christmas Elf Courtyard in Tammela, you can explore the busy and exciting life of Old Rauma’s elves, peek into their secret hiding places in attics and cellars, or volunteer to be an elf and help the old town’s busy residents with their Christmas preparations.

The beautiful Christmas lights and courtyard decorations create a magical and peaceful atmosphere where joy, warmth, and happiness come together. The Lace Town elves are already busy preparing for Christmas – and waiting for your help.

The Christmas Elf Courtyard in Tammela is open from 25 November 2023 until 2 January, 2024. The Elf Courtyard is open to the public every day, free of charge. The courtyard at its best in the evening when the lights are on from 3:00 pm forward. On Wednesdays and Saturdays and also on the Independence day 6 December, you can also take part in free Elf Trails in courtyard. Paid Elf Workshops inside Tammela are held on Saturdays and 6.12. Open

The Christmas Elf Courtyard in Tammela is open to the public every day from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm.

The elves, with whom you can take a tour, are present on Saturdays from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm and Wednesdays from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. and on Independence Day 6.12. from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. The tours are in Finnish. When the Elves are present at the Courtyard it’s also possible to go inside to Tammela.

On Saturdays there is a Christmas Elf Café and a Christmas decoration exchange market inside Tammela.

The craft workshop is open on Saturdays and 6.12 from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm. The workshop requires a separate registration. The workshop is paid.

After Christmas, the elves will go on summer break.
